Auckland Views from Our 2001 Trip to New Zealand

We visited New Zealand in 2001, and were blown away by the beauty of the land, as well as the friendliness of the people.
We arrived by air to start our New Zealand visit, and returned to Auckland just before leaving back to Hawai'i.
We stayed for a while with the brother (and his wife) of an old friend. They were very helpful to us during our visit, suggesting that we take a tour of South Island. South Island proved to be a hidden "gem" and well worth the effort to visit.
